What's on your holiday shopping list?

November 3, 2009 05:09 by Ozzie
So I was listening to the news yesterday and there was all these financial reports about the state of the economy and so on, and one thing that caught my attention was the holiday sales predictions for this year. Even though many analysts are saying the economy is slowly turning up, many people are actually very hesitant about spending any money again this holiday season. Despite the reports that the economy is improving, many people surveryed reported that they would be cutting down on their holiday shopping. More people are cutting out co-workers and friends from their shopping list and only making holiday purchases for the "requreid" individuals. They also mentioned the more popular gift ideas for this year - gift cards, home-made gifts (arts and crafts) and specialty food products and baskets. This immediately reminded me of Motivators extensive line of food products, that consists gift baskets, chocolates, mints, snack bags, and so much more! No wonder the holidays are generally the time people tend to put on a few extra pounds - not only from the extensive holiday dinners, but also from the holiday food gifts that seem to be so popular.
