We've all been exposed to the madness that is the money hungry Bernie Madoff. After an angry victim fueled courtroom case, Madoff is locked away for good. Still, many people that he swindled are trying to put the pieces back together. To help the victims of Madoff's scheme, his very own belongings are bring auctioned off for top dollars. The money raised from items such as his duck decoys going for $3,000 and his wive's diamond encrusted bracelets will be divvied out among those hurt in the Ponzi scheme.
Also among the forfeited belongings are my favorite, custom imprinted items. Madoff’s Met's jacket, imprinted with "Madoff" on the back went for a whooping $14,500. What a silly spender. For that much cash, they could've ordered 450 of our custom fleece-lined nylon jackets embroidered with Madoff.

Madoff's personal wallet, debossed with his initials "BM" also sold well over its market value at $2,200. To think, you could order 20 of the deluxe custom Cutter & Buck American Classic Men's Watch Set which includes a watch, pen and wallet all in a beautiful leather gift case.

If only a criminal had owned one of our promotional products. However, many of the buyers are spending such big bucks with the victims in mind. Lester Miller, a 77 year old semi-retired business man, paid top dollars for ordinary items with the knowledge that some of his swindled friends would be given a cut of money. What a wonderful concept.
I wonder if selling my own belongings could benefit anyone. If I'm seen with any items or am wearing anything you may like to purchase, let me know. You can even pick your favorite charity and I'll send the cash that way. But please, not my promotional mugs.
