Every morning I stop at Dunkin Donuts for my usual iced coffee. Most of the time they get it right but on occasion my medium iced french vanilla with milk and sugar has been replaced with a hazelnut or even worse, a regular (like today). I forgive these little errors because the bottom line is that I need my caffiene. One of the things that I hate the most about my iced coffee from Dunkin is the fact that the plastic cups produce more condensation than anything I've ever seen. I once fried my cell phone because I accidentally put it in my cars cup holder after having my coffee in there. Battery + puddle? Not so much. I've gotten used to the fact that since I don't drink my coffee that quickly I might end up with a few water droplets on my pants. I usually have to wipe my hands off before going back to my keyboard. But my one saving grace has been my coaster. Well, until recently.

I had a neat promotional cork coaster that I've had for the entire duration of my time here at Motivators, but subjecting it to my daily dose of Dunkin condensation started to make me a little worried that I'd warp my favorite coaster. So I went into one of our large boxes of stuff that we've got in the office and tried to find myself a coaster. And I found an awesome one. It was metal and classy looking. At first, I wondered why we weren't selling such a cool looking promotional coaster. It seemed to look like it'd fit right into our corporate gifts. And now I know why.

It's like the world's most awful coaster. It's cool looking sure, but it doesn't absorb moisture. It soaks right through and I'm left with a puddle on my desk. It makes me angry, but I haven't had time to look for a new coaster. So bravo to Motivators for not selling something that's such garbage. And if anyone wants to give me a new coaster, well that'd be swell.
