See just last week, I was on Twitter when I saw a tweet from CBS saying that the first 500 people to send an email with their address to some email address at CBS would receive a talking Barney Stinson bobble head. That's right...HE TALKS!
I'm sorry...did you just offer me promotional products? Swag? And not just swag...BARNEY STINSON related swag. My answer was YES. The tweet had been posted 5 hours earlier, but I tried my chances anyway and sent my address. And then, I went back to the world of content development and completely forgot. Cut to me being confused yesterday when I opened my door to my apartment and saw a huge manila mailer sitting in front of me. I checked the return address and when I saw that CBS sticker, I knew I had been one of the lucky 500!
Isn't he awesome? And he's says all the classic Barney lines including the one I already mentioned above. There's also "Suit Up!" Who couldn't love this? So thanks CBS for an awesome freebie that I would probably have debated buying in stores and eventually not bought because why do I need to waste space with a bobble head.
