So being a AT&T member I am always searching for new things that are coming out. AT&T's CruiseCast in-car satellite TV service will launch in the Spring, and supposedly will include 22 channels and
20 radio stations (initially), and set to grow relatively fast. The AT&T CruiseCastservice is made
consumer-friendly by the unique scaling down of satellite technology
into the small pod-like antenna that affixes to the roof of vehicles.
The antenna is paired with a receiver that is mounted in the vehicle
and provides all video and audio connections to the appropriate vehicle
systems, such as rear seat entertainment, vehicle audio system, etc. The system is nowhere near cheap though, $1,300 for the hardware and $28 a month for service. You can go oncruisecast.com for additional information.
