About Me:

I'm 30 years old (much to my chagrin) I'm married and have two very loving beagles at home. Growing up I wanted to be many things, such as a ballerina and a writer, but then I grew up, got a real job and found a home at Motivators. I'm very picky about the things that I like, but once I find something I enjoy I dive into it wholeheartedly (I read the last Harry Potter book cover to cover in 8 hours). In my spare time I like reading, scrapbooking and I watch WAY too much TV. I love having parties and get really involved in themes (I start planning my Halloween party on November 2 every year). I take a million pictures of my friends doing everything from eating dinner to stunts they would probably rather forget. I maintain that when we are all old we will be happy to have so many pictures to remind us that we did in fact have a life. I've been very blessed with great friends and a great husband and I am very thankful for all of the memories I've been able to make.

Things I love: (not necessarily in this order)

  • Halloween
  • Las Vegas
  • Veronica Mars (cancelled before its time- but my dvds are almost burnt out!)
  • New York Rangers Hockey
  • LOST
  • Three Sheets (the only educational programming I can tolerate)
  • My Ipod
  • Harry Potter
  • My Husband
  • Bones (the TV show, not random skeletal pieces)
  • Reading really great books
  • Pictures of cute animals (Cuteoverload.com is a great pick me up)
  • My beagles
  • Coach purses and accessories (they are the only thing I splurge on)

About Me:

I'm Anthony, but everyone calls me Tony T for short. Nobody including myself really knows what the extra "T" stands for, but it has different meanings to different people. I run a pretty busy life besides Motivators. I like to go to the gym 5 times a week or so to “work on my fitness”. I also play on two hockey teams, and bartend on the weekends at a local bar. What can I say, I like to stay busy. I love music, mainly Pearl Jam, but will listen to anything. I love movies as well, but with my schedule I never really get to sit and watch any. I'm a big sports fanatic (as most guys are) and I love to watch the Islanders and Mets (I don't think I'll see a championship before I die). I also work at Motivators (obviously), but that's me in a nutshell!

About Me:

I'm just a small town girl, living in a lonely world. I took the midnight train going anywhere. I'm not exactly great at talking about myself, so I let Steve Perry do it for me. I'm a Cancer, so astrologically speaking I'm a crab. And while I do have my crabby tendancies at times (most recently it's been directed at Blogger), for the most part I'm pretty relaxed and easy going. I'm immersed in the world of social media and when I'm not watching random hilarious videos on YouTube, you can find me playing Scrabulous on Facebook. Of course, that's in my free time. When I'm at Motivators, I'm either writing press releases, posting on our forum, updating our You Tube channel, or blogging. However, if it's between the hours of 12pm and 1pm, chances are I'm screaming in agony after burning my mouth on a Ham and Cheese Hot Pocket. It happens daily, so if you're local, listen for the screams. Fake cheese hurts, but it hurts so good.

My Likes:

  • Ham and Cheese Hot Pockets
  • Scrubs, NCIS, Family Guy, Chuck
  • Karaoke
  • Journey
  • New Kids on the Block
  • Rascal Flatts
  • Tangle Junior (best desktop distraction ever)
  • Dingos
Pet Peeves:
  • Black shoes with white socks.
Quote to Live by: ""Maybe the dingo ate your baby." ~Seinfeld.

Survey Questions:

If you were a junk food, what would you be? Sad because I do not want to ever want to experience the digestion process. That's gross.

What TV Character do you best relate to and why? JD on Scrubs. I constantly have an inner monologue going and I'm a spaz. Eeeeaaaaagggggllllleeee!

If you could be any TV Character, who would it be and why? I'd either be Gibbs from NCIS so I could head slap people or I'd be Dect. Olivia Benson. She is one cool crime fighting lady and she gets to work with the unbelievably attractive, Elliot Stabler.

Who was your most influential teacher and why? It's a three way tie between Sr. Catherine Walsh, Professor James Beard, and Dr. JC Barone. Each of them taught me so much that I would never be where I am without them.

What piece of technology can you not live without? Apparently it's not an iPhone because I don't have one. Seriously though, I have to go with the internet. No,'net, no job!

Which is the better unofficial holiday- St. Patricks Day or Cinco de Mayo? Cinco de Mayo. Tacos and coronas win because I love them both. I do love Guiness, but I hate corned beef and cabbage!

What is your favorite thing about working for Motivators? The people I work with.

What was your favorite non work encounter with Promotional Products? When I was 7 my great aunt's friend came over and gave me a bunch of pens he had gotten from a trade show, including a set of colored pens that were scented. Is there anything cooler than a strawberry scented pink pen to a 7 year old? I think not.

Who had the better comeback- New Kids on the Block or the Spice Girls? According to my desk, my desktop wallpaper, and the fact that I woke up at 3:45am to go into see them on the Today Show, I'm going to have to go with New Kids!

What was your favorite subject in school? English, creative writing, advertising and theatre. I'm a bit of a ham.

What is your all time favorite commercial? I think I'd have to go with the Snickers commercial with Franklin the Panda. Check it out: Click Here!

Best song to karaoke? Don't Stop Believin' by Journey. Everyone knows it and everyone sings along.

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be? Wacko from Animaniacs. Even though I don't speak with an accent, I am 100% British and I'm nuts. Seriously, ask anybody.

What was your childhood ambition? I'm pretty sure my first childhood ambition was to marry one of the New Kids on the Block.

What would your superhero power be? Unlimited access to all the Polly-O string cheese in the world and to never gain an ounce from it. I like cheese.

About Me:

I am 24 years old and have been working here at Motivators for almost two years. After graduating from SUNY New Paltz with a degree in Organizational Communications and Interpersonal Communications I found a home here as well as my fiancé (he works in the IT dept). I am the youngest of 4 and have 3 nieces and a nephew on the way; I love them all to pieces!

My Likes:

  • William O'Shea, the future Hubby...yea I like him a lot.
  • I LOVE CAKE! It's my one vice and I am more than OK with it.
  • I wear flip flops until my feet freeze off.
  • I am a sucker for puppies - who isn't - but to an unhealthy degree.
  • I am always down for a fun game night or just spending time with friends.
  • Writing is a recent interest for me-it helps me clear my mind and vent, plus it's nice to be able to look back on what has happened either good or bad.
  • I also like hosting parties and cooking for people in our apartment.
  • In the last 2 years William has made me a METS and Giants fan, but my favorite sport to play is soccer.
  • And of course my family is the best and I am very lucky to have them.
Survey Questions:

If you were a junk food, what would you be? Doritos- Ranch.

If you weren't a Motivators, what would you be? Working at a College.

About Me:

I am 27 years old and getting younger by the minute. Well, not really but I think that one day Frank Sinatra's ‘Young at Heart' will be the song that best describes me and my life. I try to find the fun and laughter in everyday life and I would like to think that I will always maintain the spirit of a kid that just wants to have fun, regardless of how old I get. For now, I don't know which song would describe me best, but I can tell you that I am extremely happy and extraordinarily lucky to have such a wonderful and beautiful girlfriend to brighten each of my days, and I have been blessed with a great job that allows me to express my creativity in a variety of ways, which is all I could have ever asked for. These two things are my livelihood and I am very thankful that I can wake up every morning and not only love what I do, but then be able to come home to someone who makes you feel like you hit the jackpot every night.

I am very much into playing and watching sports, and I take pride in my dedication to my favorite teams. I grew up loving the New York Mets and the Buffalo Bills and will always continue to stand and cheer for these teams. (Now you know why I am proud of my dedication to these teams, rather than any pride stemming from the teams accomplishments) I also very highly value the companionship of good friends and I enjoy getting together with them, even if it is just for sitting around and watching some TV. I admit, I watch a lot of television, but I would like to think that it is okay because I make sure to stick to quality television. Not to mention, any kind of programming I watch can sort of be construed as research or study for a future video project because you can always learn from what's out there, whether it's an editing technique used in a show you're watching, or even just developing an idea based on something you saw on a commercial. I also have a good idea of what goes into a television or movie production, so I can appreciate many of the things that I see on a different level than the way some others may see it. One of the best examples of this would be any Disney or Pixar production, as most of the time I am a sucker for those movies regardless of the plot because of how impressive the animation always is. But all that aside, I will now list my favorite television shows in no particular order because I think you can tell a decent amount about a person from their choice of television shows.

My Likes:

  • LOST
  • Arrested Development
  • Futurama
  • The Simpsons
  • South Park
  • Curb Your Enthusiasm
  • Scrubs
  • Three Sheets
  • I Bet You
  • Top Chef
  • Flight of the Conchords

Honorable Mentions:

  • Heroes, Man vs. Wild, Good Eats, Iron Chef America, Hell's Kitchen (how could you not love Gordon Ramsey?)

Survey Questions:

What TV Character do you best relate to and why? Dr. Perry Cox from Scrubs. I'm not saying I hate everyone and everything but I definitely find myself rolling my eyes at the unnecessary ceremonies of everyday life, such as answering questions about what I'm eating, having to pretend that I'm just as excited about your birthday as you are, discussing what I did with my weekend despite that fact that you don't really care and I don't want to summarize it. Aaaannd by the by, I like to rant about things for an endless amount of time whether or not you care to listen. (true story)

If you could be any TV Character, who would it be and why? Probably Sayid from LOST. I've been a fan of a lot of shows and a lot of characters, but Sayid has to take the cake because he is extremely intelligent, can basically fix anything, knows when someone is lying to him, is courteous and polite, and speaks better English than most Americans. Plus he's bad ass, you definitely don't want to get on Sayid's bad side.

What piece of technology can you not live without? Considering the nature of my job, I would have to say a computer and everything that goes with it.

Which is the better unofficial holiday- St. Patrick's Day or Cinco de Mayo? St. Patrick's Day! I guess both of them are supposed beer drinking holidays, but for one I'm half Irish, for two, my favorite color is green, and for three, you can usually find green beer at most St. Patrick's Day celebrations. The good ones anyway.

If you were an answer on Jeopardy, what would your question be? ? This half-Irish 27 year old graphic artist wishes he was Sayid, yet acts like Dr. Cox.

If you were a cartoon character, who would you be? I was Bender from Futurama for Halloween one year, if only I had pictures. (Somewhere out there they exist).

What would your superhero power be? Absorbing other people's superhero power (I don't care if other people said it too).

About Me:

OK, so if I had to describe myself in one word, I would have to say "shopaholic". I mean it is like therapy for me. Whenever I am mad, upset, or just plain old sad, shopping just lifts my spirits like nothing else can. What are my favorite things to shop for? Definitely I would have to say purses, shoes, and perfume! My husband swears that I love my bags more that I love him. Oh it is like a vicious cycle - when I buy one thing, I end up buying everything else that goes with it. I don't know what to do with myself anymore, so I am trying to stay away from any sort of shopping center whatsoever. But I have to admit is is tough, especially since our offices are just a block away from my favorite department store.

Anyhow, enough about my obsessions. Some of my other likes are cooking (I love to feed people, I guess I take after my mom!), watching good epic movies or any movie with Mel Gibson for that matter (I must have watched Braveheart over 400 times), hanging out with the people I love (my husband, family, and friends), listening to good music and dancing.

Jenn Jimenez

About Me:

Twenty years ago I was born into a crazy family of 2 brothers and 2 sisters- they've shaped me in to who I am today. So have my friends, music, and the ocean. My mom and dad are paid Santa Claus and Misses Claus impersonators during Christmastime. I climb a ladder everyday...onto my bed. I have conquered ninjas, ran from the cops, and came to work late – in my dreams this week. I love weddings mostly for the dancing. I love outer space mostly for the stars. I love the beach for too many reasons to list. I wish I could take Long Island and place it off the coast of Portland, Maine, where I go to school. Besides 8 A.M. classes, my favorite thing to do at school is walk down to the lake at night, build a fire, and watch for shooting stars. Here at home my favorite thing to do is go to Jones Beach for sunset, sit on the sand, and be serenaded by my best friend and her guitar.

My love for writing and painting go hand in hand. I have all these thoughts in my head that are impossible to explain... so if I can't write it, I paint it. I'm easy going and I love adventures. I'll go anywhere. My favorite movie is "Stand By Me," and I think it will be forevermore. I speak when I'm spoken to...until you know me well. My pre-K teacher called me Jabber-Jaws. Once I took an eco-friendly survey that asked what electrical appliances I used most often. I said my computer and my disco ball. Then they asked which one I could live without. I said my computer. And I guess I'm the new intern at Motivators.

Survey Questions:

Which is the better unofficial holiday - St. Patricks Day or Cinco de Mayo? Margaritas, Tacos, Sombreros > Beer, Corn beef, Shamrocks.

What would your superhero power be? Teleportation – There are so many places I want to be at once.

Who was your most influential teacher and why? My Oral Interpretation professor. Warm ups for our presentations including: Yodeling, acting like gorillas and assorted charades. He encouraged me to do an interpretive performance of the song "Stan" by Eminem. It was very out of character for me, but in the end it was an incredible experience.

What is your Favorite season? Living in Maine half of the year has helped me to fall in love with winter. Lying on top of snow covered, frozen lake is beautiful.

Best song to karaoke? I would do anything for Love -Meatloaf

Michael Jolly

Michael Jolly
Graphic Designer

About Me:

I was born in Bayside, Queens, NY. I grew up in Franklin Square, moved to Smithtown when I was about 9, went to college at the University at Buffalo, and currently live back in Smithtown. At Buffalo I began studying Architecture but soon changed to Communication with a focus on Graphic Design. Towards the end of my college career I took part in 3 graphic design internships to further my graphic design skills and experience; my favorite of which was working at NBC in New York City. I was not paid for this internship (just reimbursed for travel expenses which, for anyone living around NYC understands can be well over $200 a month) but it was still the best internship I have ever had. The only disappointments in the job were (1) 30 Rockefeller Center is an over 40 story building and I worked on the second floor and (2) I had to leave when my internship was completed. Now I'm moving around in Motivators to pursue my Graphic Design career and very much enjoy where I am.

During my free time I enjoy playing hockey, snowboarding, playing the drums, or playing XBOX. I'm a bit of a technology freak when it comes to audio / video and, although I don’'t have the bank for it, am constantly battling to put together a nice little home theater with constant upgrades. I am currently very proud of my setup containing a 52 inch Samsung television with Yamaha surround sound, up-converting DVD player, HD cable box, and of course, XBOX. I also love music. Throughout my life I have played in school band, stage band, jazz band, marching band, and various little projects with friends. At the present time, the drums are just a hobby for me, but perhaps something more some day, probably not though. I've come a long way when it comes to snowboarding and am proud of the level I am currently at. The only disappointment would be that in Buffalo, I was able to snowboard about 2 – 3 times a month in the winter and I don't go quite as much anymore. I do what I can though.

And that's me in a nutshell, how did I get in this crazy nutshell??

Survey Questions:

If you could be any TV Character, who would it be and why? Jason Bourne. Although he leads a very conflicted life, he's a trained killing machine (I'm almost there, just a few days of training left). I understand the Bourne trilogy is a movie and not a TV show, however, I own all three movies and I happen to watch them on my TV, which makes him a 'TV Character' in my eyes.

Who was your most influential teacher and why? My drum teacher from high school was one of the most down to earth people I have ever met. He obviously taught me how to play the drums but also how to keep your priorities straight.

What piece of technology can you not live without? My car and my iPod. The car is obvious and the iPod comes with me to work, in the car, snowboarding, and to the gym. I'm not sure what I would do without her.

If you weren't a Motivator, what would you be? If I were not a Motivator, I would probably be an airplane pilot. I love to fly and would love to do it as a profession. If only they could cut down those flight hours and training necessary to become a commercial pilot and just trust me, I know how, I've played all the flight simulators, training complete, now let me in.

Which is the better unofficial holiday - St. Patrick's Day or Cinco de Mayo? St. Patrick's Day. The beers are better because they come from experience. The food is always better from a chef who is ... let's say plump. I'm not sure how to word it, but apply that theory to St. Patrick's day, drinking, and drunk Irish people, then divide by the square root of 7. Need I say more?

What was your favorite non work encounter with Promotional Products? I'm not sure I could pick a 'favorite' experience because lets face it, they're all so much fun when you involve promotional items right? I've always been a fan of the beer glasses with the beer logo printed on them. It's smart advertising, directly to the target demographic.

Who had the better comeback - New Kids on the Block or the Spice Girls? Did either of them ever have a 'comeback' per se? Or was it merely the result of people's infatuation with terrible music manifesting itself in the form of a few unwise CD purchases?

What was your favorite subject in school? Earth Science, Computer Science, and Physics.

What is your favorite season? I like winter and summer equally and for different reasons. I love the winter because I love to snowboard. I like the summer because one of the best parts about living on Long Island is the beaches. I also enjoy playing outdoor sports in the summer months.

Best song to karaoke? Any song that doesn't have words. People get paid to sing, those people are not you, leave it to the professionals... please... for the sake of everyone else in the bar.
