As we approach Labor Day weekend, I'm sure many of you are preparing for another year end barbaque. For my friends and I, we traditionally have a all day BBQ event. This year we might try something different and have a BBQ at a park or beach.  Its funny, for the past two years we have been using the same exact BBQ set.  I was maybe thinking it might be the time for a change.  I was looking through the Motivators website and noticed that there was several custom BBQ sets offered. As many of you know I'm always seeking new intel on the latest gadgets from Apple.  Rumor has it, Apple may be developing a desktop version of the iPad.  This is just another way for Apple to invent products that no other company has currently on the market.  Another neat feature is the operating system.  It will be switched from the OS X to IOS (operationg system for iphone and ipad).  This will enable users to tap into the huge app market that is currently available.  Althought this might be a plus, it can also take away from the benefits the OS X .  This might turn out to be the best of both worlds.  Motivators has some custom imprinted Electronics to go along with any electronic device. So over the past weekend, my cell phone was tragically damaged from my friend throwing me in the pool. I tried to dry it using my blow dryer, but the end result was not good. My screen was working fine but its seems like the main button on my iPhone was not working.  Without that button, my phone was practically useless. I wish I had my custom dry pack cell phone case. Google is having a press conference, which they will be unveiling some new mobile features. On top of that Droid 2 is set to be out in the stores today. Like the iPhone4 and Evo, it will consist of a 1GHZ processor, 3.7 inch display screen, slide out qwerty keyboard, 5 MP camera, and the best feature of all the FROYO 2.2 firmware. This software will be the first ever to support Flash (which is huge). It will also have tethering and portable Wifi functionality which iPhone does not have (unless jailbroken). For all the blackberry users out there, wait no more for RIM unveils the New Blackberry Torch 9800. This model is significantly improved from its previous models. Being a car fanatic I figured I'd do a follow up blog to my first initial post regarding the electric cars. As we burn more and more fossil fuels, car makers are looking to an alternative means of fueling their vehicles. The first electric cars were not so successful. If you recall, the EV1 was a total failure, in which GM ended up scrapping the vehicles. Now here in the 21st century, GM and Nissan are unveiling their new products. The Volt (GM) and Leaf(Nissan) are set to be out in the near future.  The Volt has a price tag of $41,000 compared to the Leaf of $33,000. The Volt can go 40 miles on full charge. After the battery is depleted, the gasoline motor will kick in and you will be good for another 300 miles. The Leaf, on the other hand will be a fully electric. Like all electric cars, one thing that will stand out is the instant torque and acceleration.  Motivators is a carbon-free company. So over this weekend my friends and I took a mini trip to AC. My friend gets alot of comps from the Taj.  Needless to say everytime I go down there, I always see various promotional products. As you all know I love my iPhone 3GS. I've been looking to upgrade to the iPhone4, but at this current moment I am skeptical. On Monday Consumer Reports did a test and found out that the antenna reception decreased when you held the phone in different positions. The release of the report made Apples shares tumble.  Just to recap, on the first day iphone4 sold around 1.5 million units. Being in the sun everyday this past weekend, my body has taken a toll from my compulsive scratching. I literally got like 20+ bites. Just my luck. As the World Cup fever continues, we get down to 8 teams that are competing for the championship. I was dissapointed at the performance of both the US and South Korea. So as the Quarterfinals approach, I have my eyes on the Germany Vs Argentina and Brazil vs Netherlands.  You can count on a stellar perfermance by the current #1 player Messi from Argentina.
